Project VC

Literacy is critical for communication, academic success, self-advocacy, and autonomy. It also expands cognitive processes and advances learning as it supports memory, attention, auditory and visual perception, conceptual understanding, and reasoning. Students with complex support needs require carefully designed, comprehensive instruction to support their literacy learning. Project VC supports teams in their efforts to provide this instruction through a series of professional development, formative assessment, and implementation supports designed to track and improve literacy outcomes for all students.
